Lease Data Retention Under UK GDPR and FRS 102
Lease102 retains all data for 7 years to comply with Companies Act 2006.
Retention Policy
All subscription tiers retain audit trail and lease data for 7 years, in compliance with Companies Act 2006 requirements. There is no tier-based variation in data retention – every customer receives the same 7-year retention period. After 7 years, records are permanently deleted in accordance with data minimisation principles under UK GDPR.
AI assistant conversations
Conversations with the in-app AI assistant are not accounting records and follow a shorter rule: each conversation is deleted automatically 12 months after its last message. You can delete a conversation sooner from the assistant panel, after which it is permanently removed within seven days. Export My Data includes the conversations you have not deleted.
