Spreadsheet Import
Spreadsheet import lets you bulk-load multiple leases from an Excel or CSV file by mapping columns. This is a separate bulk/CSV migration tool on the Imports page; it is not one of the three first-run options on the empty dashboard (those are: upload a lease document, add manually, try a sample lease). To extract terms from a single Excel lease, use "Upload a lease document" instead.
Download Template
Start by downloading our import template from the Imports page. The template includes all required columns.
Required Columns
Your spreadsheet must include: contract_reference, lessor_name, asset_description, asset_class, commencement_date, end_date, payment_amount, payment_frequency, payment_timing, discount_rate.

Optional Columns
The template also supports optional columns: cost_center_id, portfolio_id, asset_location, lessor_contact, and more. Include a cost_center_id column to automatically assign leases to cost centres during import.

Upload your file, map columns if needed, review validation results, and approve valid rows.
