Supporting documents, kept with the record
A lease is rarely a single document. Renewal notices, variation letters, rent review memoranda and photographic schedules of condition all belong with the agreement they relate to, and until now Lease102 had nowhere to put them. A record could show only the document it had been extracted from, and a record you created by hand could show nothing at all.
Every record now has a Supporting documents section in its Record Information panel. Use Attach to add a file, give it a short description if that helps a colleague, and it is held with the record from then on. Each file can be opened in a new tab or saved to your computer, and removed when it is no longer needed. PDFs and images open in the browser; everything else downloads, including Outlook messages, which no browser can display.
Nothing you attach affects your FRS 102 figures. Attachments belong to the record rather than to an import, so clearing your import history never touches them. Removing one deletes the file and keeps a note that it existed for your audit trail.
