Keep a document even when it is not a lease
When you upload a document, Lease102 checks it before extracting anything. A document that is not a lease and has no payment schedule, such as a tenancy renewal notice or a variation letter, is declined with an explanation, and no allowance is used. Until now the only suggestion was to create the record by hand, and the uploaded file itself had nowhere to go.
Declined documents now carry a Keep on register action. You choose what the record is, a non-lease contract, a sub-lease you grant, or a licence you grant, and give it a reference, the other party, the asset class, the payment and the dates. Lease102 creates the record and keeps the uploaded file with it as the record's source document, so it can be opened from the record at any time.
Nothing is read by artificial intelligence in this step, so no extraction allowance is used and every value on the record is the one you typed.
