You get a clear explanation of what it appears to be, and it uses none of your monthly AI extractions. A lease at a peppercorn rent is still a lease and extracts normally.

A genuine agreement that is not a lease, such as a services or maintenance contract or a software subscription, now extracts and is marked as a non-lease contract. It is kept for visibility only: its payments and key terms are held and shown on a Payments by Period grid, with no right-of-use asset, no liability, and no effect on your reports, journals or disclosures.

You can override the classification either way before approving.
